Our Ideology... In the Words of Harvard Business School's Best

Take a few minutes to listen to renowned Harvard Business School strategy professor Michael Porter explain why business can be good at solving social problems.

What is a "Social Enterprise"?

The term 'social enterprise' is still relatively new in our culture, and we are excited to partake in its spread. The first Public Benefit Corporation legislation in the U.S. was passed only in 2010 in Maryland; the same year that Impact Investments became a legal asset class. The definition is still evolving, and we have chosen to align with the thinking of the Social Enterprise Alliance.
